Yes! We have showhomes around the country, find the nearest one to you.

There may not be a showhome in every New Zealand region yet, but we’re working on it.

The exact cost of a Clever Living Co. home will vary depending on factors like region, design choice, consent costs, site conditions, and transportation if your home will be built off-site.

To get an estimate, simply choose your preferred Clever Living Co. home design, and we’ll put you in touch with an approved local builder. They’ll be able to provide you with a total supply and build price based on your individual needs.

You'll enter a Residential Building Contract with your builder, setting the terms for invoicing and payment. We recommend you obtain advice on financing and any legal issues from your trusted external advisor or provider.

The approved Clever Living Co. builders are a selected number of independent licensed building practitioners (LBPs) who understand the Clever Living Co. homes and how to build them to the highest standard.

All of these approved builders are part of reputable associations - either a member of Registered Master Builders of NZ, Certified Builders NZ, or a qualified builder that offers a 10-year Builders Guarantee.

We generally recommend sticking to the specifications we provide, as they have been designed to keep your new build affordable and timely.

However, we understand that sometimes, changes are necessary. Please discuss any desired changes with your builder. This may require additional approvals and costs.

Your Clever Living Co. approved builder will work with you to include all materials and items needed in your final building estimate. This includes site preparation costs, floor and window coverings, kitchen appliances, Grid Connect smart home features, a heat pump and more. The majority of the materials are Supplied by Bunnings Trade, while the remaining components will be sourced from local specialists.
